PARIS WEEKEND GUIDE – SPRING

Hi my loves,

I hope you are well and that you woke up in the best possible mood today, because I most certainly did. Yesterday I received so many questions about Paris and my recommendations, so I thought I would create a little guide for you with my favorites. Enjoy!

Where to stay?

Hotel Amour – A newly opened, cool hotel located in the more crowded areas in Paris. I can definitely recommend their restaurant as well.

Alfred Sommier – Another beautiful, Parisian hotel, but also a little bit of a splurge. It is definitely one of the most beautiful ones.

Ritz – Best place there is, but VERY expensive haha. Stay here if you want to splurge.

Hotel Rochechouart – One of the best hotels at a ”better” price in my opinion. Located with a view over the city, a little outside, but metro from here is convenient so I don’t think it’s a problem.

Cour des Vosges – Located in Marais, so it might be considered a little bit ”off”, but such a cool hotel with incredible interior design.

Kimpton St Honoré – Probably one of the best locations in my opinion. I’m obsessed with the interior here, and if you want to stay somewhere close to the city center.

Chateau Voltaire – One of my favorite stays in all of Paris. I love their cozy, light rooms and the incredibly friendly people working in the hotel.

Where to eat lunch/brunch?

Café de Flore – Breakfast and people spotting here is a dream. I do, however, recommend you to go here during the weekdays, because the line is extensive on weekends.

Les Deux Magots – I love this place for pastries and coffee. Also they have the best hot chocolate with whipped cream.

Gigi – Another Paris classic, with the most iconic views over Paris. Go here for a lunch during the week (less crowded), and enjoy wine and beautiful views.

Carboni’s – I love this place for anything in any day. I usually go for the ”fish of the day” and it’s so yummy.

Club Marigny – Amazing place for outdoor lunches. Don’t miss out on their fries!

Coco Palais Garnier – I love this place during spring/summer. Grab a glass of wine with your food and don’t miss their burrata.

Girafe Paris – A very pricy restaurant but also with a stunning view. Go here when the weather is good and enjoy the most beautiful view.

Where to eat dinner?

Le Flandrin – One of the coziest spots in the calmer areas of the 16eme. I love going here for lunch or just a glass of wine!

Le Magnifique – I just recently discovered this place and they offer really good, well cooked food. It is quite expensive but definitely worth it. Don’t miss out on their desserts.

Le Voltaire – Best place for meat in my opinion. I love their pepper steak! They serve big portions with tons of condiments for your main which is incredible. Love this!

Le Relais de L’Entrecôte – Okay, no, this place is the best for meat. They only serve one dish but they offer double portions for 25 €. Pro tip is to be here early or late because there is usually a long line going on here.

Le Petit Lutetia – I live and die for their fries and their ice-cream. The perfect fries in my opinion.

Jaïs – One of the best restaurants in Paris. A very lovely interior design, quite pricy, but so worth it. I’m the biggest

La Collier de la Reine – I have not yet tried this place but I can’t wait to go. They seem to have seafood which I’m a huge fan of.

Parcelles Paris – I recently discovered this place and I can’t wait to try it out. Their menu looks so good and I know they have natural wines which is a big win.

Sugaar Paris – This restaurant is a recent discovery of mine. They unfortunately don’t have anywhere to sit outside, but if you come here and it happens to be raining, this place is amazing for dinner. It’s also more of a festive vibe here, which I love.

How to get there?

Metro – The metro here works very well. It runs smoothly and they arrive often.

Bolt / Uber – Taxi services are also working well here. Quite cheap and they arrive quickly! Just don’t go by taxi during rush hours, then it can take hours.

Museums/places to visit

Musée Rodin – My favorite museum of all time. So beautiful with the most stunning interior.

Musée Picasso – Also such a beautiful spot, literally one of my favorites.

Musée de L’Orangerie – I’ve never been here but I definitely want to go. A classic if you come to Paris!

Palais Galliera – I recommend visiting this spot if you’re interested in fashion! During the day and when the sun is shining, this is one of the best spots.

YSL Museum – Also such a good spot if you’re interested in fashion!

Musée D’Orsay – Really beautiful and definitely worth a visit.

Where to drink coffee and enjoy pastries?

Paris Partisan Café – If you’re spending the day in Marais, I highly recommend stopping here for a coffee or a matcha. Friends of mine love their matcha, although I do prefer their coffee. Pro tip is to avoid this place during the weekend as it can get very crowded.

The Dancing Goat – This place is super cute for a coffee, and also quite calm as it’s located outside the city center of Paris. I love going here when the sun is shining and to grab a coffee outside.

Café Alma – One of my favorite spots, located in the calmer areas around Seine. Their outdoor serving is always sunny and I highly recommend their coffee and ice-cream.

L’Avenue – I love going here for wine lunch, but it’s also super nice just to sit outside and grab a coffee or a glass of wine. It is quite expensive here, and the food is really good, but the main reason why I love this place is the ambience. And that can be enjoyed just over coffee or wine!

Angelina – A Paris classic. The yummiest and prettiest pastries in all of Paris, but it’s always so crowded. Make sure to be here early if you want to grab a seat.

Where to drink wine?

Buvette Paris – I recently discovered this place in Paris. So cozy for drinks and the nicest staff.

La Palette – A cheese platter and wine to die for. So many scandinavians here though.

Cheval Blanc – According to me, one of the best views in Paris. Their wine is always divine and they serve such cute snacks when you order drinks.

Folderol – My number one favorite in Paris is this place. Ice-cream and wine, all in one. Love this spot!

Chambre Noire – Natural wines and snacks outside is such a dream here. Perfect spot after a full day of shopping in Le Marais.

Where to grab a coffee to-go?

Drink White – located in Le Marais. The cutest little shop with the best baristas. Definitely worth a visit if you want a cup on your shopping tour.

Café Kitsuné – this iconic place is located on many places, but I personally love the ones close to Jardin du Palais Royal the most. One coffee is around 5 €, so it is expensive, but definitely worth it.

Saint Laurent café – next to the store on Rue Saint Honoré, Saint Laurent has their own coffee shop. Get an iced latte or a hot cappuccino here. Pretty cups and tasty coffee.

Noir – also a lovely spot located in many different areas in Paris. Very pricy here but they know what they are doing!

Where to shop?

The Frankie Shop – This is my favorite shop and has been for a long time. I love going here to find more unique, fun pieces.

Loulou – Also located in Le Marais and one of my favorite shops for elevated basics. It’s amazing.

Dior Avenue Montaigne – Coffee here is always a dream, super expensive but so dreamy. Also, don’t forget to look at all the floors with nice clothes and bags.

Le Marais – This area is very fun to just stroll around in, lots of nice vintage stores and stores in general. Just walking around here is fun as you can find so many good spots.

Rue Saint Honoré – Expensive shopping done right, hehe. I love this place as all the beautiful, fun stores are packed together. They are very expensive, but it’s so much fun to look at.

Le Bon Marché – One of my favorite department stores here in Paris. It’s so lovely there!

Rue du Bac – In St Germain, this is one of my favorite streets for shopping. Lots of nice stores collected in a small area.

Enjoy Paris! Xx
